POLL: should I buy a Nook HD for £79?

The Nook HD seems like a good deal for £79, especially since it now has Google Play access. Seems to get good reviews across the board. Apparently they're just selling them off to focus on ereaders instead.

Anyone anything to add before I say "I do"? :p

Nope. Nothing to add. (mainly because I don't know if you need a tablet :p )

Yes. I bought a HD+ and it's a great tablet, especially if you mod it with Cyanogenmod 10.1
Instructions here BTW http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317500

So, Magicrevolver,
if the Nook's OS version is such that you prefer a Custom ROM, what exactly IS so good about the device? Can't be its software ;)

Just curious; not trying to be funny

Probably the price, it is very competitivly priced now its on a firesale especially when everyone is raving about the tesco hudl which the Nook HD matches on screen quality and connectivity, and the processor in the Nook is "good enough"

The HD+ is in a class of its own with the 9" screen, mostly because i cant think of any other 9" tablets...

Yup, the price it's currently at and the screen is pretty good.
