What's the most powerful Android phone?

What is, pound for pound, the most powerful Android phone?
I realise the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is quad-core with 2GB of RAM, but is that offset by the large display and unique software features?

The S3 is either quad-core or has 2GB of RAM. The quad-core version has 1GB and the US dual-core version has 2GB. Still, the quad-core version is the world's most powerful phones, yes. That's until the Note 2 is actually released in October which has a higher clocked quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM.

The S3 is probably the best phone. The Note 2 is probably the best Phablet.

And yeh like Matt said there are international versions. One with 4GLTE, quad core processor and 2GB of RAM will be launched in Germany soon so you can import it but it's pointless as we don't have 4G yet + it'll be very expensive and give you pretty much the same performance as normal S3.

TBH, it's better to wait for motorola and LG's new phones. (also may be a new HTC one) as they should be releasing something this quarter.

Anyway. Can see what the op means will it seem like the faster phone, or like the One X seeming slower than the One S is it hampered by it's extras. Thinking S3 might seem like the fastest once it gets Jelly Bean at least.

If by pound for pound you mean more power for your money then the Orange San Diego packs a punch though it has it's limitations.
