the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped
Anyone else seen this error message on a Samsung Galaxy S II: the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped
How can I fix it?

Try clearing cache of every google app on your phone
If that doesn't work then clear data
If THAT doesn't work you might need to do a factory reset

I once flashed a CM10 nightly which caused this to happen constantly. I ended up having to reflash an older version, it was the only thing I could do which wouldn't have resulted in data loss (yes, I know, I should have had a more up to date back up).
I tried the things mrew has suggested, none of them worked for me. Saying that, on a stock ROM a factory reset should solve the problem.

I did reset my galaxy S2 (Android Version 4.1.2) and re-installed all apps. but still got the message. after unselect "power saving" mode, things went normal...
just turn the "power saving" function off
I mean, where you manage wireless, bluetooth and GPS buttons, there is "power saving" touch button, just unslect it and it works. I think there is a bug in the multi core usage site of OS. when power saving enabled CPU and OS can not manage some threads.
