What's the best process for transferring my SGS2 data to my LG Prada 3.0?

I have bought the LG Prada 3.0 and want to transfer all my stuff from the old SGS2. Whats the best way of doing this? I found one app but I'm not to keen on it due to bad reviews.

What data? Just your files etc, or contacts, email accts etc?

Everything I possibly can.

I know Google will keep my contacts, but I need to transfer everything stored on the phone:

SMS
Images
Videos
URLs

Of course Apps would be nice but I know Google will allow me to reinstall them and the paid ones should be fine, etc.

I tried Astro but there doesnt seem to be a backup/restore option.

GO seems to have a backup option which I will be trying shortly.

I dont want to root or mess with the phone.

Have you tried Moborobo? http://91.pandaapp.com/pcsuite/

Sorry, I rooted the Android phones I used and backed up with Titanium.
I'm not much help. Browsers I always used Opera Link for sync, but I rarely used the
default Android browser.

Maybe matt or some other fandroid can be of more help.

Incidentally, if you're wondering why you haven't seen me comment/post for a while then that's because I've still got a problem logging in. I have to reset my password every time I close the browser.

Sorry.
I know the devs are aware of that bug.
I experience a few glitches now and again, also.
I actually started taking notes to try and figure out what bthe pattern is, what browser, what ISP etc etc... it's weird.
Have you tried setting up a new account?

Sorry Jan, I'm not even going to begin to reply to that comment, other than to say:
"been there, done that, got the t-shirt and travel injuries.." ;)

Shuwaz, can I enquire as to why did you downgraded from the S2 to the Prada 3? I looked at the Prada's specs and it seems generally worse than the S2 (bar the Prada name, if you're into such things).

Downgrade?
I can't see a great deal different between the two and I don't use the phone to its full potential to warrant/justify having the SGS2 over the LGP3.

Change of phone
Its a looooong story but to summarise I bought the phone twice via the ASDA Direct/HUKD offer. The first was for my wife but it ended up in a his and hers issue. Keeps the wife happy, gives me a break... ;)

Oh but most important of all, my SGS2 is having a bit of a torrid time. The Lite'ning ROM keeps crashing on me, randomly powering off and restarting. To further increase this happening the back cover is loose (due to one of the tabs snapping off) and one of the three batteries I own (the Anker brand) doesn't sit properly in the phone (due to the bottom seal coming away).

Furthermore the charger wire is split so has a bit of electric tape over it and the USB cable fell apart at the USB connector side.

Then the latest event (a few days ago) is that my 32GB Class 10 micro SD card showed up as 'Damaged' in Android. Couldn't do anything with it except format.

So as you can see, life has been tough with the SGS2 lately. Hence the timely decision to keep the LGP3.

If it doesn't work out for me my contract is due for renewal in April 2013. I could get a decent contract deal with a (dare I say it) iPhone 5 from my current provider.

If you're not into rooting, the SGS2 isn't exactly great imho... I found the stock rom on mine ridiculously slow.

Likewise, though it is extremely easy to root an S2.

Yes, it is.
But some folks just don't like it. Rooting, I mean. It's extremely easy to jailbreak, also. Yet....

Yeah, I don't want to play around with the LGP3. Its a simple case of transfer my stuff to the new phone, get the SGS2 back to its original state and sell it on... along with my wife's old HTC Desire and my HTC Flyer tablet.

You'll probably make a profit replacing the S2 with a £150 Prada 3.

True, I wonder how long it'll be until the iP5 and iOS6 are jailbroken...they're pretty limited without.
