If you didn't flash any custom ROMS or manually changed model number, you can use it to figure out your SOC. Model number should be in About menu.

N9005, N9002, N900W8 - Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400
N9000 - Quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A15 & quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7
CDMA Version - Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400

My Note 2 says "ARMv7 Processor rev 0 (v7l)"

Not the foggiest what the hell that means, but I know my phone has an Exynos chip. Maybe that could help the OP, I don't know really?
