Can I put Ice Cream Sandwich on my HTC Desire HD?

Can I put Ice Cream Sandwich on my HTC Desire HD if I root and use a ROM?

Yes, but some things will not work.
Video recording is not working and there might be more.

I've been using the Ice Cold Sandwich ROM by LorD ClockaN for the last few months. Everything works fine apart from the video (camera works fine) and possibly MMS (I don't use this anyway).

Rooting and installing a custom ROM will definitely improve and extend the life of your phone.

I have never moved past Android Revolution HD 7.0.4. Thank you for sharing about Cold Sandwich, if I have spare time on my hands I will definitely give it a try.

Using Blackout ICS 3.1 and not very impressed with it. Getting bad reception, which could be related to mismatched radio. Using: 12.65.60.29_26.14.04.28_M

I use EXISTZ from http://code.google.com/p/aospx/

My camera seems to work fine :)

There is Sabsa Prime v6.0 and TrickDroid v1.1.1 ripped from One V and come with Sense 4.0 Lite. Anyone tried them?

I would prefer Sense ROM.

Quick update - dumped Blackout - too many problems with data coverage. Data connection would randomly drop and not come back for long periods of time.
Running Subsa Prime 7, will report how it is.

Running Sabsa Prime 6.5 and does everything I want. No issues at all. Will look at the latest update at the same as Jelly Bean as well.

So far on Sabsa prime also. Haven't changed as it's pretty good.
