Can I put pictures from my laptop onto my Samsung Galaxy S3?

I have a folder of pictures on my laptop and wondered: can I move them onto my Samsung Galaxy S3, or can you only take pics off the phone, not move them on?

Both ways.
Connect your phone to your PC with the USB cable. Open your S3 (should appear as a new media device) => see the photo folder? Drag your photos into that.
Or use the Samsung KIES PC Suite to import and export all sorts of content....

Does Kies Air still exist? That was quite convenient (when it worked...) on the few occasions I used it with my S2.
