The good ship HTC continues to spring fresh leaks on an almost daily basis. Not so long ago we met the quad-core HTC Edge, and now it’s the turn of the HTC Zeta.
Interestingly, the HTC Zeta wasn’t one of the names on the recently leaked 35-device codename list. Not that that necessarily means anything in itself, though it’s not clear if this new beast is merely a prototype or a future flagship.
The HTC Zeta, leaked to Engadget by “Wysiest”, is said to have a 2.5GHz quad-core processor (cripes), 1GB RAM, and a 4.5in 720p HD display. That sounds rather delicious, actually.
We’re further salivating at the prospect of the 32GB of internal storage and 1,830mAh battery, and there’s the now obligatory 8MP/1.3MP camera combo with 1080p video capture. Like the rest of the recent high-end HTC stuff, it’ll rock Beats Audio.
Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) is said to be steering the ship, and the physical design is very non-HTC, with sharp-but-sexy edges. We like.
Another contender for a Mobile World Congress reveal? Fingers crossed…
