Red HTC One M8 officially revealed in interactive 3D model

Red HTC One M8 officially revealed in interactive 3D modelThe HTC One M8 was launched back in March, and while it initially touched down in Metal Grey, Amber Gold and Arctic Silver, we all knew it’d only be a matter of time before further colours were announced.

Fast-forward seven-and-a-bit weeks, and we’re getting a glimpse of the HTC One M8 in red.

Head over to Sketchfab and you can play around with an interactive 3D model of the red HTC One M8. It didn’t work for me, admittedly, though there are various screenshots doing the rounds suggesting I’m the odd one out. Gah. EDIT: Ah, worked in Safari! Stupid Chrome.

Anyway, there’s not a great deal to go on at the moment. HTC doesn’t care to say, well, anything for now, so there’s no word on the red HTC One M8’s release date or proposed geographical availability just yet.

Presumably red HTC One M8 specs will be otherwise identical to the existing model, so you’re getting a 5in 1080p display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a Dual Lens rear camera.

It’s worth noting, however, that HTC is supposedly prepping a One M8 Prime, with better specs still. Ooh, and a wallet-friendly HTC One M8 Ace in a plastic shell.
