Register for Next Galaxy updates at Vodafone

Register for Next Galaxy updates at VodafoneAs the Samsung hype machine goes into overdrive, Vodafone UK has joined Amazon Germany in jumping the proverbial gun.

While Amazon.de has popped up a pre-order page for the Samsung Galaxy S III (or whatever it’s called), complete with a frenzied stab in the dark at the price, Vodafone UK now invites you to register for updates. 'Citing.

Vodafone isn’t giving anything away at this stage, and simply refers to the Galaxy S II’s successor as “the next Galaxy” and “the new Galaxy”. Release date? Nope. Price? Double nope.

Yesterday, Samsung’s "take the next step" countdown thingy failed to impress, suggesting that “Following technology blindly often gets you nowhere” (clearly a dig at the iPhone), and ultimately revealing a rubbish teaser video.

The Samsung Galaxy S III launch event is pencilled in for May 3 – one week on Thursday. In the meantime, feast your eyeballs on our Samsung Galaxy S III rumour round-up.

Are we sure it wasn't a dig at themselves for copying (blindly following) it? ;)

I can't bring myself to register an interest in what I think of as the worst network. :|

O2 are worse, without a doubt. They cost more (in my experience) and have worse coverage...

You can register your interest directly with Samsung here too.

vodafone certainly seem behind the game on payandgo

I wish they'd quit with those videos though. That said I'd quite like the sheep section as a live wallpaper. *blushing smiley*
