It feels like we’ve been talking about Apple’s iWatch – the Californian crew’s first foray into “wearable tech” – for years, but all going well, it should become a reality within months.
In the meantime, we’re hearing a few more details about the Apple iWatch’s design, most notably that it’ll have a round face. Y’know, like a watch.

The latest iWatch whispers come courtesy of analyst Brian Blair of Rosenblatt Securities, who recently returned from “a big trip to Taiwan” – as reported by Business Insider.
Of course, the Apple iWatch isn’t the only round-faced smartwatch on the horizon. The easy-on-the-eye Motorola Moto 360 is tipped to drop any month now, with Android Wear on board.
According to Bri, the Apple iWatch will have a similar look to the Motorola Moto 360, but with a “slimmer profile”.
Interestingly, we’re told to expect models plural, which could mean one for the guys with the hairiness and the muscles, and one for the gals with the daintiness and the nice smells.
Ultimately, Bri has adjusted his iWatch forecast, predicting Apple will produce 18-21 million units in the second half of 2014, a tad higher and more refined than his previous estimate of 15-20 million.
