Remember that story last week about the mystery device in the Sammo CES recap that some folk figured might be the Samsung Galaxy S III?
Well, we’ve got an almost identical story this morning, ‘cept it’s not a CES recap but the furging abysmal trailer for the latest release in the terrible, terrible Resident Evil movie franchise.
The trailer begins with a series of shots panning out to reveal Sony devices. Among others we’ve got the Tablet S (er, I think), the PS Vita and what appears to be a Sony-branded Ericsson-less Arc.
You’ll no doubt remember that Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD was one of the names being banded about before CES. Instead we got the Sony Xperia S and the LTE-rockin’ Sony Xperia Ion. Is the Sony Arc HD actually an entirely different device? Maybe we'll find out at Mobile World Congress next month...
As for that Resident Evil trailer, might I ask why a movie based on a series of zombie blasting games appears to contain this many shamblers: zero. Honestly, filmmaker guys, go watch Zack Snyder’s Dawn of the Dead then come back to us with a proper zombie film. Many thanks.
