In the world of the smartphone rumour mill, the likes of the Galaxy S4 come and go, but iOS is forever, and today we've a fresh Apple iPad mini rumour to report.
Well, it's more reality check than rumour, as the gist of it is that the Retina-equipped iPad mini 2 is indeed on the way, but will only touch down in Q3.
CNYes says Apple plans to ship 55 million iPad minis this year, suggesting demand isn't suffering despite the lack of Retina display quality.
Sounds logical to me, but as always with Apple, we'll just have to add this rumour to the pile until Apple puts us out of our misery. For the record, though, a separate CNET piece is claiming pretty much the same as CNYes but via a different source, so we'll put this one on the top of the pile until persuaded otherwise.
