Yes, in the UK. Well, that's unless you can unroot it again and hide any evidence of it ever being rooted (possible with Samsung devices).

Not sure it's that clear cut though retailers would like it if we see it that way.
Course many of them wouldn't have a clue if you had anyway, especially with some faults.
And Samsung will maybe find another way not to honour warranty anyway...
