Is it safe to buy an "unwanted upgrade" on eBay?

If someone is selling an "unwanted upgrade" on eBay, is there anything I should be wary of? For example, what happens if the person stops paying for the related contract?

It's a risk, admittedly. If the person stops paying their contract, your phone will likely be IMEI blocked, rendering it almost entirely useless as a phone (IMEI altering a blocked phone is illegal btw).

Basically you take a risk, if something on eBay looks too good to be true, as is usually the case in life, it probably is.

Be warned he may sell it to you then get it blocked by the provider as a stolen phone. it has happened before...

personally bro i would say it may cost a little extra but buying it new is preferable.
