Samsung accidentally reveals IFA wares, three new devices

Samsung accidentally reveals IFA wares, three new devicesA This Is My Next tipster has discovered three new devices set to be unveiled by Samsung at – or technically the day before – this year’s IFA event in Berlin.

They are the Samsung Galaxy Note, the Samsung Wave 3, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, and all three appear within the APK for the SAMSUNGmobile UNPACKED IFA Android app. Oops.

There aren’t any specs to go on at this stage, but it’s fairly safe to say that the Samsung Wave 3 will be Sammie’s latest Bada effort. Bada, incidentally, has reportedly been doing ok for itself, ticking away quietly in the OS background.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 name suggests Samsung will stretch the smallest of the Tab family from 7in to 7.7in. It’ll join the Samsung Galaxy Tabs 8.9 and 10.1, and presumably – like its big brothers – it’ll run Honeycomb (Android 3.1).

The Samsung Galaxy Note, however, is a complete mystery. It could be one of a horde of Android handsets hinted at in a recently leaked roadmap.

Well, September 1 is shaping up to be quite a busy day. HTC is having its “what’s next” party on the Thursday evening.

All those 'accidental' reveals and " leaks" of course generate more publicity than paid-for ads... Wonder who's behind that ;)
The Wave 3 is accidentally a phone I'm looking forward to. Bada has potential.
