There seems to be a set pattern in mobile land these days: vendor announces new handset, vendor ships new handset, vendor enjoys huge sales and then announces it will also launch said handset in a variety of different colours.
And as if by coincidence, said new hues always seem to magically arrive right around the Christmas shopping period - especially with Pay As You Go models.
Samsung appears to be the latest case in point, with Pocket-lint claiming Samsung has suggested the AT&T exclusive Garnet Red variant of the S3 that's popped up for pre-order in the US will be joined by other colour variations in due course, and all but directly confirming that we'll be seeing some of the multi-coloured action here in the UK.
When questioned about the likelihood of the Pebble Blue and Marble White options being added to down the line, the Samsung contact's exact words were: "we will be announcing potential colour variants in due course". Not quite a confirmation, to be fair, but an awful long way from a denial too.
One thing we know we're bound to see at some point - even though it'll make our eyes bleed - is the shocking pink version. Because as all Mobotniks will be aware, all girls love pink, therefore all girls will want one.
Having said that, given that the Samsung Galaxy S III was inspired by nature, yet designed for humans. So maybe Samsung could find its way to coming up with some nature-themed hues... How about one made of wood? Or another with a built in water feature?
