Unless you’ve been hiding under a giant inflatable iPad for the past few months, you’ll be well aware that Apple and Samsung are currently embroiled in something like 20-odd legal battles across the globe.
One of those battles is taking place in Australiaville, and there are whipsers that Samsung might’ve made Apple a cheeky offer.
That’s the story according to the Wall Street Journal, though the finer details of the offer aren’t clear. Apple attorney Stephen Burley would only suggest: "(Samsung's) inconvenience would be diminished and we would be comforted" by the deal.
If Apple accepts Samsung’s offer – whatever it may be – the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 could go on sale in Australia as early as next week. We first heard about the Australia injunction at the beginning of August.
