South Korean manufacturer Samsung has been on board the WinPho train since Day One, but it’s been mysteriously tardy where Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 are concerned.
Finally, after several weeks of delays, the first units of the Samsung ATIV S smartphone and ATIV Tab are trickling through to retailers.
Over at Clove, they’ve got the Windows Phone 8-fuelled Samsung ATIV S and Windows 8 RT-based ATIV Tab available from tomorrow, for £442.80 and £538.80 respectively.
Meanwhile, Expansys expects the Samsung ATIV S tomorrow (£459.99), and it has 24 Samsung ATIV Tabs in stock right now at £549.99.
If you’d rather grab the Samsung ATIV S on a contract, head over to Phones 4u to check out the various options from Vodafone and O2. However, note that delivery ain’t expected till December 21.
Samsung ATIV S specs include a 4.8in Super AMOLED display (720 x 1280), 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (augmentable via microSD), and an 8MP rear camera.
As for Samsung ATIV Tab specs, it has a 10.1in display (1366 x 768), 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 32GB storage (again with microSD support), 2GB of RAM, and a 5MP rear camera.
