Samsung ATIV S UK release date now November... or is it December 21?

Samsung ATIV S UK release date now November... or is it December 21?Last week we were saying that the release date for the Samsung ATIV S, the South Koreans’ first Windows Phone 8 device, had disappointingly fallen back to December.

However, it now sounds as though you might be able to lay your hands on the Samsung ATIV S before the end of the month. What the fug?

Somewhat bizarrely, the Samsung ATIV S seems to have disappeared entirely from Handtec. Last week they were saying first stock was expected in the week commencing December 10.

Meanwhile, Clove still says: “First stock delayed until week commencing December 10th.” Bah.

However, there’s slightly more positive news over on Expansys, where the 16GB Samsung ATIV S is available “on request”, and normally supplied in “less than 5 days”.

As for the 32GB Samsung ATIV S, Expansys says the price is TBC, but the retailer is currently accepting pre-orders.

The Samsung ATIV S has also popped up on Vodafone via Phones 4u, though it warns not to expect delivery till December 21 – more than a month from now.

Good lord. Any readers hunting down the Samsung ATIV S? How goes the search?

Reflashing an SGS3 with WP8 is obviously a difficult task...

It's said that on Expansys for the last few days, I'm just wondering whether it's worth taking the plunge. As they also say it about the Lumia 920 and the Ativ Tab I'm taking it with a pinch of salt.
