Is the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 good for gaming?

Is the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 able to handle most games from Google Play?

Most, yes. All, I very much doubt it.

Handle? Yes. Well? No...
It's why I like how every Android phone is advertised with "access to over 500,000 apps" - see: "access to" ;)

Very true.

Next time I see him, I'll try out a few popular titles on my dad's Ace 2. I'm sure it'll run everything apart from high-end 3D games just fine, though.

Agree... Even my stone age Acer Liquid MT can still handle basic stuf like Angry Birds etc etc....

I don't hold out much hope that it'll handle CSR, Real Racing 3, NOVA 3 etc particularly well, but it should be able to play pretty much anything else. It does have quite a small display though, so it's not a great gaming device in that respect. Then again, its display is bigger than my HTC Desire's was and I never found that to be a bad gaming device.
