Badly, the S2 is the better phone.

If at same cost then S2 all the way.
Better camera with better video
Larger screen
Faster processor, same GPU though
More ram

It doesn't have a SAMOLED+ screen either, does it? Also, I wonder if the GPU is running at the same maximum clock speed as it is in the S2. I know that it runs at 267mhz in the S2 (and can be OC'ed to 400mhz), and can slow to 160mhz to save battery. I wonder if it's stuck at 160mhz in the Galaxy S Advance...just a thought.

Specs I saw said samoled so yeah not plus by looks. No idea about GPU.
Value of S Advance is definitely going to come down to cost, similar but lesser hence not S2 Advance I guess.

Weirdly there's a Galaxy S Plus as well, which is based on the original SGS but is better (though worse than this Galaxy S Advance).

Yes, Galaxy Advance is slower than S2 and has less RAM. I'm sure that GPU is also slower.
There is a catch to it. Surely, Advance and S2 are based on same chipset, but Advance is clocked slower. Overclocking can make Advance as fast as S2, strike RAM size. It is also possible that Advance has new silicon that would perform faster/better battery vs. S2.

Have to wait for reviews to confirm above.
