Man, I’m struggling to get excited about the Samsung Galaxy S IV for some reason. We all know it’ll have a 5in 1080p display and it’ll be the biggest selling Android phone this year, blah blah blah.
Having said that, it’s my freakin’ job, so let’s go crazy Broadway style! Heck, this rumoured/leaked chap mightn’t even be the Samsung Galaxy S IV. Join me after the break, broseph, where you’ll find me caressing my speculatrix.
What we’re dealing with is a benchmarked device with an Exynos 5 5250 Dual processor clocked at 1.7GHz. That’s the chap what powers the Samsung-built Google Nexus 10.
Also confirmed on the mysterious device is a 1080p display, which is pretty much a given on any new flagship at present. But are we looking at the Samsung Galaxy S IV?
Well, the codename of the device is GT-B9150, which throws a bit of a curveball at your face.
See, the Samsung Galaxy S, Galaxy S II and Galaxy S III had codenames beginning ‘GT-I…’ Hmm. Similarly, the Galaxy Notes would usually begin 'GT-N...'.
Well, it’s not too far fetched to imagine Samsung might be prepping another high-end 1080p Galaxy Phone, in addition to the Samsung Galaxy S IV. The South Koreans have been fairly prolific of late, to put it mildly.
