Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 sounds surprisingly ok

Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 sounds surprisingly okCould it be? I think – I think we just went over a week without a new Samsung smartphone release. But fear not!

This very morn, almost one whole year after we met the Samsung Galaxy Grand, the world’s number one mobile manufacturer lifted the lid on the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2, and it actually sounds, well, not entirely terrible.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 sits somewhere between the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 – when it comes to size, at least; the specs are arguably more mid-range.

Specifically, Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 specs include a 5.25in display, and while Samsung Tomorrow runs with “Ultimate Viewing Experience” in its headline, it’s actually a 720p resolution here.

Other Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 specs include a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1.5GB RAM, a modest 8GB internal storage welcoming up to 64GB via microSD, an 8MP/1.9MP camera combo, and 2,600mAh battery.

On operating system duties, it’s Jelly Bean Android 4.3 in the captain’s chair, with no promise of KitKat Android 4.4 at this early stage.

Finally, the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 ships with a handful of flagship features, including S Translator, S Travel and Group Play.

There’s no mention of Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 price or availability just yet, but it’ll touch down in white, and – in some regions – pink and black.

Another non-phone from Samsung, they need to learn that less is more in terms of releases.

Heck Note 3 isn't working that greatly for them, and that has some brand out in the market, so i don't know what this is designed to target? Note fans who don't like the S-Pen?
