It’s been a looong wait (let’s not dwell on the fact that Key Lime Pie is expected in four months), and finally Jelly Bean is about to be served. To Samsung Galaxy S II owners in Singapore.
That’s the word according to CNET, with a Samsung spokesperson confirming that Samsung Galaxy S II Jelly Bean will roll out in Singapore in February.
Of course, as Matt will tell you, you could always go down the unofficial root with a Samsung Galaxy S II Jelly Bean ROM, as he did many months ago. “It really does bring new life to an ageing device”, says Matty.
Oddly, Samsung has also announced the Samsung Galaxy S II Plus, which is arguably a step down from the original, but comes with Jelly Bean preloaded, complete with Google Now and all that other stuff.
