Samsung Galaxy S II Jelly Bean arriving next month. In Singapore

Samsung Galaxy S II Jelly Bean arriving next month. In SingaporeJelly Bean (Android 4.1) for the Samsung Galaxy S II was unofficially “confirmed” back in August, and more recently we heard a bunch of talk about the various features.

It’s been a looong wait (let’s not dwell on the fact that Key Lime Pie is expected in four months), and finally Jelly Bean is about to be served. To Samsung Galaxy S II owners in Singapore.

That’s the word according to CNET, with a Samsung spokesperson confirming that Samsung Galaxy S II Jelly Bean will roll out in Singapore in February.

Of course, as Matt will tell you, you could always go down the unofficial root with a Samsung Galaxy S II Jelly Bean ROM, as he did many months ago. “It really does bring new life to an ageing device”, says Matty.

Oddly, Samsung has also announced the Samsung Galaxy S II Plus, which is arguably a step down from the original, but comes with Jelly Bean preloaded, complete with Google Now and all that other stuff.

Unless you have tiny hands, you'll get used to it, take it from a day to day Note 2 user. Saying that, if Samsung make the N3 6.3" as rumoured, you may be right and it may just be too big to use easily.

It's weird to think that my next phone won't be bought until either the Note 4 or SGS5 are out, they seem so far away oO.
