Is this the Samsung Galaxy S III?

Is this the Samsung Galaxy S III?Samsung USA has posted a video on popular streaming site, YooToob, commemorating its appearance at this year’s CES in Vegas.

The video recaps the plethora of stuff Samsung showed off to the Yanks, but some eagle-eyed cyberfolk have spotted a mysterious device that wasn’t announced. Samsung Galaxy S III anyone?

The unknown smartphone appears just after the seven-minute mark (7:11) during some marketing talk about how awesome Samsung’s camera technology is.

The device has an edge-to-edge display, and appears to be similar in design to the Samsung Galaxy Note and slightly bigger than the Samsung Galaxy S II. Are we looking at the Samsung Galaxy S III?

Our guess is: probably not. There’s just something a bit off looking about those few seconds. We reckon there’s some studio magic at work, though why Sammo would bother is beyond us. What do we know? We just scribble words.

In any case, we’re hoping to be formally introduced to the Samsung Galaxy S III at Mobile World Congress next month. Things get underway on Monday 27, so expect Samsung to jump the gun with a Sunday 26 unveiling.

Looks to me like a Galaxy S II but the 'simulated image' on top has just been stretched out, probably to make it easier in the video for people to see whats happening?

It's just an S2 with a bigger "screen", added in with vfx.
