Ok, just to be clear: that’s a Samsung Galaxy Note you’re looking at, not a Galaxy S III, but you knew that already, right?
However, if the latest rumours are true, the Samsung Galaxy S III mightn't look massively different from the Samsung Galaxy Note, thanks to an eleventh hour design change.
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus debuted Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) last November, and arrived with this many buttons along the bottom of the display: none.
It was presumed that the Samsung Galaxy S III would follow suit, but now we’re hearing it’ll actually be more like Sammo’s ultra-popular phablet.
Korean Digital Daily reports that Samsung was divided over the button issue, but ultimately the Galaxy S III will adopt a single Home button, and a Galaxy Note-style five-column layout for its icons.
Rumoured Samsung Galaxy S III specs are still all over the place, but include a 4.6-4.8in display, an 8 or 12MP camera, NFC support, and a quad-core Exynos processor. Oh, and Ice Cream Sandwich, of course.
Still no freakin' word on the Samsung Galaxy S III launch date…
