The Samsung Galaxy S IV rumours are predictably beginning to gather pace, ahead of the inevitable 2013 launch.
Unsurprisingly, Samsung Galaxy S IV specs are tipped to fall under “jaw-dropping”, which is why something about this purported Samsung Galaxy S IV benchmark doesn’t quite add up.
The Samsung GT-I9400 (expected model number of the Galaxy S IV) has popped up in a NenaMark 2 benchmark.
However, Samsung Galaxy S IV specs outed by the benchmark include a resolution of 800 x 480, ARM Mali-400 MP GPU, and 1.2GHz processor. We’re not exactly hot and bothered.
Having said that, if this is indeed the Samsung Galaxy S IV, it’s almost certainly not the final hardware configuration. As Sammobile reminds us, Samsung Galaxy S III firmware was tested on a device with a dual-core processor and 800 x 480 resolution.
Benchmark aside, rumoured Samsung Galaxy S IV specs include a 5in 1080p display, quad-core (or even octo-core) processor, and 13MP rear camera. That’s more like it.
