Samsung Galaxy S IV to come in six variants?

Samsung Galaxy S IV to come in six variants? We’re about to go into Samsung Galaxy S IV overdrive, with the launch taking place one week on Thursday. As Martin mentioned a couple of days ago, you can head over to Times Square to take it all in, or, like, just watch it on YouTube in your pants.

In any case, whether you’re in New York or Newhaven, we’re being told to expect six variants of the Samsung Galaxy S IV. Well, technically. There aren’t six different phones, man. That’d be insane.

The smartphone nerds among you might’ve deduced that that means two colours and three different storage options. Yep, that makes six Samsung Galaxy S IV models in total. Kinda.

For starters, Samsung Galaxy S IV colours will be plain old black and white. That’s fine with us; we never did like that Pebble Blue much.

As for Samsung Galaxy S IV storage, make room for a 16GB, 32GB and 64GB version. There is of course a 64GB Samsung Galaxy S III out there, but it’s somewhat of a rarity - and an ultra-expensive rarity at that. With a microSD slot, you could hypothetically make a 128GB Samsung Galaxy S IV. Meaty.

Yep, sounds good to us. As do the other rumoured Samsung Galaxy S IV specs, including a 5in 1080p display (4.99in, if we’re being pedantic), octo-core Exynos Octa processor, and Jelly Bean (Android 4.2).

Recent Samsung Galaxy S IV whispers suggested the South Korean OEM expects to sell a whopping 100 million units – a feat only recently accomplished by all existing Samsung Galaxy S models combined.
