Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 UK SIM free prices confirmed

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 UK SIM free prices confirmedThe Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 launched alongside the Galaxy Mega 5.8 in early April, and the first SIM free prices have started rolling in.

Martin has already told us to mark July in our diaries, and if you fancy picking up the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 SIM free, you should aim to have a spare £460 in your wallet.

An update on the Clove blog reveals £459.99 as the SIM free price for the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3, but while July is given as the release date, the exact date is “still to be confirmed.”

Meanwhile, over on Expansys, the SIM free Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is listed at £469.99. Again, there's no specific release date.

Those prices are a little higher than we’d hoped, though – disappointingly – pretty much what we expected; you can grab a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for around the same buckage.

As such, we’re not entirely sure who the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is aimed at. Perhaps those who believe, mistakenly, that bigger means better.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 specs include a resolution of 720p, dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB of RAM and an 8MP rear camera. Meh.

As for the Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8, it won't be coming to the UK, much to the disappointment of no one.

A bigger, less powerful Note 2 with a lower PPI? Nah, I'm alright thanks, Samsung.

Matt,
You're forgetting that this has the latest version of touchwiz :O
I mean how awesome is that? Surely it justifies the high price tag for a **** device?
Less RAM too lol

"Best" is subjective. I'd go fore the Note 2, but obviously those 10 million people who bought the S4 preferred that.
