Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 at Mobile World Congress?

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 at Mobile World Congress?Aww man. I had a good moan about Sammo’s prolificness yesterday in Samsung: more is less, and now we’ve got yet another device soaked in rumour mill juice. Sigh.

The so-called Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has been mentioned in two entirely different locations. Is it a reality, or a pair of coincidental typos?

In an official ‘Guide to Samsung Developer Day at MCW 2012’, developers are promised the S Pen and bada 2.0 SDKs, and a handful of related devices including the Galaxy Note and ‘Galaxy Note 10.1’. What the…?

In an entirely independent thingy, a casting call for a ‘Samsung Galaxy Commercial’ will apparently “show a Galaxy Note 10.1 used for education, financial planning, and art.”

Interesting. But do we really need a bloody 10.1in version of the Samsung Galaxy Note? Personally, I don’t relish the prospect of using it to make calls.

Am I the only one concerned that Samsung might “do an HTC” in 2012? It’s getting a bit silly, if you ask me.

This, like many of the Samsung range, does not need to exist.

Just a Galaxy Tab with S-Pen maybe?

Samsung should have stopped developing all this crap and got the S3 ready in time for MWC.

No, its too early for the SGS3..
Its probably ready but the SGS2 is still booming so its too early for a successor just yet, id say may at the earliest it will be released.

to the op, not sure what you mean "do an htc", because samsung already released a ridiculous amount of phones etc last year aswell..this year won't be any different.

By "do an HTC", Lewis means Samsung look to be releasing so many phones that they spread their talent too thinly and even the good phones suffer for it, unlike the S2 in 2011.

Oh and as for the S3, I'm fully aware of the economics of Samsung's decision, that doesn't stop me wanting an S3 ASAP :p!
