Hmm, this is a bit of a strange one. The cyberweb was all in a tizzy yesterday when a purported – purported – image of the imminent Samsung Galaxy Note 2 leaked.
However, despite many pairs of pants being ruined, it turns out it’s merely an edit of a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 mock-up. Or something.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 image to the left was initially posted by – you guessed it – Know Your Mobile. Subtle watermarking, huh? KYM boasted: “This is the first time we’ve got a proper look at the device,” having been “sent the image last night by one of our tipsters.”
However, some kid called Daniel UY later tweeted a couple of sites to explain: “This actual leaked image from KnowYourMobile, it's just an edit image of my mockup..And also printed :-)”
Daniel’s Samsung Galaxy Note 2 image, complete with a Daniel UY watermark on the rear, is tucked at the bottom of the article. Nice mock-up, actually.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 launch event is tipped for August 29, at a pre-IFA event in Berlin. Rumoured Samsung Galaxy Note 2 specs include a 5.5in “unbreakable” display, quad-core processor, and 2GB of RAM. We want.
