Samsung Galaxy Note 2 vs Samsung Galaxy S4

Which Android phone do you guys think is the best: Samsung Galaxy Note 2 or Samsung Galaxy S4? Thanks!

I've got the S3 lte version which I like very much but if I had to change I'd go for the note2.

I used the SGS3 and the Note 2 - both for about 3 weeks. The SGS4 didn't interest me at all... It seems like a blend of the Note 2 and the SGS3. I'd go for the Note 2 if I had to put up with a giant slab. Which I don't :p

Both have things that are better than the other. Overall, I'd still go for the (cheaper) Note 2.

S4 is a very good phone.

My favourite so far.

Kev,
What were you using before if I may ask?

S1 . S2 . S3 .. ;)

Alright :)
Just asking because someone coming from, say a BB8520 would probably judge an SGS4 differently than someone with experience in high-end smartphonolgy ;)

What phone do you use ?

Main everyday-use kinda phone has been an N9 for a while now. I also have a Moto Pro+ lying around and a HTC HD2 that dual-boots WinMo and Jelly Bean.
I use plenty of other devices for a week or two at a time - recently the HTC One, Note 2 etc...
Currently I'm between my N9 and a Blackberry Z10 (which I'm going to post a massive rant about very soon...).
I'm not a big Android fan - despite the great hardware as represented by the HTC One or Note 2 etc Android just doesn't appeal to me in a vague aesthetic way.
And shock: if Apple weren't constantly f*cking with jailbreak and instead opened up the platform, I might well buy an iPhone - not because of some iLove, but because I happen to like certain iOS apps.

I'd go for the S4. The note just looks ridiculous when it's held against someone's face. Although the S4 is a big phone, it doesn't look as bad.

I was originally waiting for the S4 to come out. Then I saw the RRP on release, thought the S4 wouldn't be that much noticeably better other than the camera and ir blaster, and opted for the Note 2 for the slightly better battery life. The note 2 isn't much bigger than the S4 either. Bit big in the pocket though :)

I'm sure the S4 is a great phone in its own right, just a bit more expensive than the Note 2 at present.

When the 4.3-in HTC HD2 came out, people said the same... There really isn't much between the SGS4 and the Note 2. And the Note 2 offers some extras. Lets face it:
Pressing a piece of plastic, metal and glass against our cheeks isn't the height of beauty at any size :p

So no experience of the Note series?

I have to say, from videos I've seen around the interwebs, the SGS4 looks surprisingly laggy compared to both the Note 2 and S3... I'm assuming it's a software issue, hopefully Samsung fix it ASAP.

I've tried a few out in various shops. Yuck. very laggy. I even gave them a reboot to see if it was down to the fact that they'd been sitting there for days on end, but no difference. very laggy but then I'm used to native 4.2.2. on my Nexus 4 which belts along in comparison.
