Ouch, £561...who'd spend that much money on a phone. You'd have to be mad, wouldn't you, Lewis ;)?

Meh. I want Optimus G now.

If it gets official CM support, I don't trust LG with software. I mean, the 2X is still awaiting ICS, isn't it?

Whoa... if that is an offer, what'll Irish networks charge? They are still flogging the first Note for €599 on prepay

Guess android lovers can't say the iPhone is overpriced any more, 16GB iPhone 5 is cheaper than this.

It's also considerably less phone that this...

Also, making a Note 2 32GB or 64GB would cost a lot less than £600 or £700, respectively.

Hey, will the Note 2 feature those mini-apps a la the 10.1 Note? If they work like that floating browser or like the SGS3's mini video player, it'd be quite nice.... we need more proper multi-tasking. And the Note 2 has the screen estate.

You have a point here. However, this is not an official price. I bet Sammy is going to price it @ 529.

Until you realise you can add a 64 GB microSD card for a total of 80 GBs storage and still have paid less than a 32 GB iPhone 5.

It's not an offer, just first time it's been seen I think.
Assuming you mean trying to flog them, so only about 30-40% than over here, gotta love them.

@janSt
I have galaxy note 1 and after the last update to 4.0.4 my note has the mini video player. Its a cool feature to be able to do other things like text or browse internet etc while watching a video. Must say I don't use it often though, but it does work great.
After using my note for around 4 months now, I wouldn't go back to a smaller screen now. I hardly use my computer now as this phone is great for looking at e-mails, surfing web, listening to music etc. Another great app I use a lot is "tv catch up". Can watch any freeview channel live when got a 3g/wifi connection of 1.5mb/s.
I also dont find the phone too big, it fits in most of my pockets and is very easy to use.
I would reccommend the new note to anyone who likes surfing web and watching video's etc because of the screen size. It also has a very good music player. With some decent headphones the sound is very loud and clear.
