Colour seems to be playing a big part in various manufacturers’ plans for the next generation. We’ve already been told to expect a gold – sorry, champagne – iPhone 5S, while the Sony Xperia Z1 will supposedly come in black, white and purple.
Yesterday we learned that the Samsung Galaxy Gear will come in no less than five colours, and today we’re hearing that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will boast three options.
No prizes for guessing that credit here goes to SamMobile, as it does with pretty much every Samsung rumour these days.
They’re saying that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will land initially in plain old black and white (Black Mist and White Frost, I’m guessing).
As for the third Samsung Galaxy Note 3 colour, it’ll follow around seven weeks later, specifically… pink? Without sounding like an unstoppable sexist moron, that’ll inevitably draw girlie girls towards a device that’s possibly seen as a niche thing for big manly hands. Er, knowing nothing about the male/female Note divide. Let’s move on!
SamMobile reiterates the notion of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date following shortly after launch, with those initial colours/shipments moving around pretty much in tandem with the official unveiling.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 specs are said to include a 5.68 HD Super AMOLED display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (LTE) or Exynos 5 Octa (3G) processor, 3GB of RAM, a minimum of 32GB internal storage (i.e. no 16GB option), 13MP rear camera, 3,200mAh battery, and Jelly Bean (Android 4.3).
If the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 launch doesn't go down on September 4 ("Note the date"), I'll eat Matt's Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
