There was a time when we used to raise our eyebrows at the mention of 2GB of RAM in a smartphone, but to be honest, that’s pretty much par for the course at the high end now.
As such, we’re pleased to hear that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will come rocking a whopping 3GB of RAM. Lovely.
To be fair, it’s not the first time it’s been proposed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will ship with 3GB of RAM, though Korean publication The Korea Economic Daily is giving its stamp of approval to said notion.
Elsewhere, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 specs remain very much up in the air, with various names and figures doing the rounds.
Starting with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 processor, we wouldn’t be surprised to see some Samsung Galaxy S4-style craziness, with different models (3G, 4G, LTE-A) rocking different processors. Expect the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 and/or Exynos 5 Octa to make an appearance.
As for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3’s display, we’re hearing anything from 5.7in to 6.3in. At this stage, the only certainty is that it’ll be bigger than the 5.5in Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Well, almost certainly.
Other Samsung Galaxy Note 3 specs will probably include a 13MP rear camera and Jelly Bean Android 4.3.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 launch is all but confirmed for IFA in Berlin in September. The Samsung Galaxy Note and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 launched at IFA in 2011 and 2012 respectively.
