Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs iPhone 6 Plus

Trying to decide between the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and iPhone 6 Plus for my next phone. Any thoughts? I have an iPhone 5 at the mo but I've used Android before :)

The Note 4 will almost certainly be cheaper. That's in spite of the larger, higher resolution display and expandable storage. To me, the biggest difference comes from the software. Samsung have brought features to the table that really make use of the massive screen; the S-Pen, split-screen multitasking, floating apps. Massive screens just don't make sense without such features.

If you really, really like iOS, then the choice is obvious. Personally though, I can't help but see the 6 Plus as a lazy 'me too' effort, much like the majority of other phablets on the market.

As an aside, has anyone else noticed how massive the bezel is on the new iPhones? The 6 Plus is roughly the same size as the Huawei Ascend Mate 7, a 6" phablet. It's taller than the Note 4, and a lot larger than the LG G3 (despite both phones having the same size screen). The iPhone 6 doesn't fare much better, being closer in size to the Nexus 5, Galaxy S5 and Moto X than it is to other ~4.7" devices. I suspect a lot of people are going to get a shock when they go from an iPhone 4/5 size device - the new models are even larger than their screen sizes would suggest.

I would go with the Note 4, Its far superior in ever way, if you wanna go for a large phone then its kinda pointless with out the features mentioned above. Seems like a rushed poor effort from Apple. They can only sell these and future iphones on the Apple brand alone which is what they are currently doing. Putting in next to no effort into features, and following the crowd rather then leading the way which company of their size should be doing.
