If you were slightly taken aback by the suggestion that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 price will come in at £575 SIM free, well, we’ve some good news for you today.
According to the lovely Katy P (not Perry) at idealo, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 price could drop by as much as 34% after just 3 months in the wild.
Lady K’s working is based on price analysis of the previous Samsung Galaxy Note models over the course of their first 365 days (check out the graph above).
Essentially, things are getting progressively worse, with the Samsung Galaxy Note, Note 2 and Note 3 having fallen by 8%, 13% and 25% respectively after one solitary quarter.
As such, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is tipped to drop to 66% of its initial value 3 months after release, which means you might be able to pick it up for around £379.50 come the New Year (the release having officially been confirmed for October 10).
Better still, if you’re willing to hold off for a full year, a predicted 44% price drop would see the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 selling for £322. Crazy.
And heck, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 isn't exactly a massive leap forward from the year-ago Note 3, so we doubt phablet fans will be rushing to upgrade.
As Katy observes, Samsung Galaxy S5 price dropped by 25% in 4 months, too, so if you’re thinking of grabbing a Galaxy Note 4, we’d definitely suggest waiting till Santa’s been and gone.
