While anodised gold colouring is more than enough for our tastes, it’s not uncommon to see high-end smartphones made over in, like, actual 24-karat gold.
We recently saw the utterly garish 24K gold iPhone 6 in China, and here, looking just a little classier for our money, is the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Gold Limited Edition.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Gold Limited Edition is a treat for Vietnamese consumers with more money than sense, and we doubt too many of you will be upset that there’s no word on a UK release at this stage.
Still, while the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Gold Limited Edition is more than a little out of our budget, it does - admittedly - look rather nice, as evidenced by a whole host of pictures on samsungviet.vn.
For starters, you get a fancy leather box, and an equally fancy card to prove that you’re the owner of an authentic Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Gold Limited Edition (or SG-NEGLE, for short).
The gold trim is fairly subtle, too, and not forgetting the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Gold Limited Edition’s S Pen, with its fancy gold handle.
Otherwise, Samsung Galaxy Note Edge specs remain unchanged, so you’re looking at a 5.6in QHD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32/64GB expandable storage, 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), 3.7MP front camera, and 3,000mAh battery.
Unless you’ve been sleeping under a rock for the past few weeks, you’ll know we’re expecting a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in early March.
