Can the Samsung Galaxy Note be held in one hand?

When receiving calls, for example, can you hold the Samsung Galaxy Note comfortably in one hand? I have quite big hands :p

there has been an update that reduces the keyboard/keypad to about 75% of the original size and it slides to either side of the screen depending on which hand you want to hold it. Before this, I could dial one handed, but it's easy now :) And I don't have massive hands haha

Yes. I doubt you'd be able to dial and place a call with one hand, but yes, you can answer with one hand, and you should be able to hold the Note without gecko-powers...

Ooh now that's just made this phone a whole lot more interesting.

Is that sarcasm I detect Pondlife ;)

No it isn't. I tired it instore and thought pfft can't type on this so no use, mused elsewhere on here that such an idea would help, had no idea they'd already done it. :)

Ah, time for a lawsuit of your own then? :P http://www.geeky-gadgets.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Galaxy-Note.jpg

Hmmm not sure, still looks bit big, I'd really like an old school T9 like number buttons solution for easy one handed retro texting.

It`s got one like this if that`s what you mean:

Pretty much, well alright exactly :)

Does that move to the side like the other?

Bubba Shaboo  May. 6, 2012 at 14:54

Just like the pictures jaybear88 posted it can either completely fill the entire bottom half of the screen or be set to about 75% and be able to move left or right for single-handed texting.
