What's your budget? or is this a contract phone? Might be worth looking at the Galaxy S3 mini which is a good enough phone for the price nowadays.

If you want i could recommend some other non Samsung phones that are better value for money whilst still maintaining a brand image.

Yep, if you're looking for a 4.0"-4.3" phone then the S3 Mini is the best choice from Samsung at the moment. You can pick one up around the £200 mark.

From others-

The HTC One S is a good phone to go for as well. It's a 4.3" phone and a bit better specced than the S3 Mini. Reflected in the price around £280ish.

Another good phone to go for is the Huawei Ascend P1. It's around £220 and is similar to the HTC One S.

If you want a nice simple phone you can have a look at the HTC 8X which runs Windows phone 8. It's around £250. But remember this is windows not android so there are some drawbacks and advantages to each system.

tbh no matter which one you go for they are all good phones and will all do the same thing.

Have a look at some youtube reviews/the handsets in store to make a full decision.

Unfortunately there aren't many phones with a 4.3" screen and super high specs. But that's good in a way because it means you can save some money on your budget.

I can't remember the exact specs of the S3 Mini, but isn't the S2 a better phone?

Very similar. But the S3 is using newer parts and is a newer phone and will be updated more. Also it's the same price/cheaper than the S2.
