HZO popped along to CES in Las Vegas last week to show off its Waterblock Technology stuff, and some of the big boys were reportedly rather impressed.
Indeed, all going well for the HZO chaps, this is the kind of thing we could find being the norm in the next wave of high-end smartphones.

There’s still a fair bit of confusion concerning which devices will get Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) and when, but Samsung deserves a special mention for making an absolute meal of things with the Galaxy S.
First Samsung said that Ice Cream Sandwich wasn’t a possibility for the Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab, citing TouchWiz and memory restrictions, then it said it was having second thoughts before announcing a “Value Pack”. Phew.

South Korea’s favourite son, Samsung, recently announced the Sammo devices that are confirmed for Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) action, but there were two notable omissions – namely the original Samsung Galaxy S and 7in Samsung Galaxy Tab.
As one might’ve expected, in the days following the announcement, Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab owners wept openly before Samsung’s feet, and resultantly the manufacturer is said to be considering a cheeky u-turn on its previous statement.

Now, in a case that had been dragging on for months and months, US judge Lucy Koh has rejected Apple’s proposed injunction against Sammo’s wares.

It’s the moment Android users have been patiently awaiting for over a month. The spanking new Android Market was announced back on July 12, and its ship has finally docked in the UK.
