The Samsung Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Tab 2 have appeared at Mobile World Congress. Of course, the surprise was somewhat ruined thanks to a leaked internal document last month, but we’re happy to finally meet them nonetheless.
The Galaxy S2 isn’t too far off Samsung’s other powerhouse, the Google Nexus S, in terms of specs. The Android 2.3 handset will pack a 4.3in screen, 1GHz dual-core processor, and – something not found on the Nexus S – HD video recording. It’ll also have NFC support for contactless payments.
The Galaxy Tab 2 has been shown off in a series of cheeky pics. It’ll have a 10.1in screen (a stretch of 3.1in over the original Samsung Galaxy Tab) and a front facing camera. Of course, it’ll run Honeycomb, the tablet-specific version of Android.
More Samsung newsage as and when it happens, amigos.
