How do I use my Samsung Galaxy S2 as a modem for my laptop? I've heard it can broadcast a wireless signal -- is that right?

Go to settings->wireless and select mobile hotspot. Make sure you switch it off when you done due to high battery usage.

That depends on so many factors!
- What features are you most looking for? (music? camera? social networks? email? games?
editing photos? etc etc)
- battery life a big issue?
- price?
- do you just want to use the phone, or do you like to 'tinker' with your gadgets? (modify/hack/tweak etc )
