Samsung Galaxy S5 launching at MWC 2014?

Rumour has it the world’s number one mobile manufacturer will launch its next smartphone flagship a tad earlier than tradition would’ve otherwise suggested, thanks to lower-than-expected sales of the current Samsung Galaxy S4.

Gelling with that notion, the latest Samsung Galaxy S5 launch rumour proposes that the Life Companion successor will debut at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 in February.

The changing size of smartphones

At some point while sitting on the couch last night I found myself thinking: ‘Wouldn’t it be nice to see some sort of graph depicting the change in smartphone sizes over the years?’ and quickly set about creating the chart you see before you.

Naysayers have been typically outspoken about the Samsung Galaxy S4’s plastic body, but Joe Public appears set to go absolutely mental for Sammo’s latest flagship.
