Could March be the month of the Samsung Galaxy S III? We're certainly hoping so, as given Samsung's recent announcement that it won't be holding any press conferences at MWC, we can now rule out February.
The source of our new-found optimism is news that Sammy has apparently pencilled in an event for Amsterdam on March 15, with the intriguing tagline "Samsung line-up 2012".
The invitation, which has been shared online by Sammobile, appears to be just for Benelux types, which could mean it's only relevant to those countries, or could mean that other regions will be treated to localised events of their own.
And if you're looking for cryptic clues that the Galaxy S III may well be the star of the show, well there are none, though Sammobile swears you can see the number "3" if you look at the picture on the invite in a certain way (or maybe under the influence of certain substances).
It's certainly not conclusive either way, but it does seem to be a safe bet that Samsung will be showing off some new goodies. And if a product launch is being lined up so soon after Mobile World Congress, it would surely be for something important enough to be able to carry the attention all on its own, like the Galaxy S III. Here's hoping...
