Possible Samsung Galaxy S3 Specs....they're good...

1.5ghz Quad-core Exynos CPU and a Mali T604 Quad-core that's a quality combination, how long 'til Samsung will take my money for one :p?

According to?

the analyst 'treab' no idea who he is...

Oh right, for a minute there I thought you were being serious...I should have known better :p.

It'll be released in April/May 2012, after being announced at MWC in Jan/Feb, same as the SGS2 this year and the original SGS the year before. It'll also be the best of the Android bunch if the new Exynos & Mali are as good as this year's.

i wonder what its screen size will be... will it be larger than the galaxy nexus i.e. 4.7" or bigger... will it be the same size as the note? will it remain a 4.3"...

matt101101 / MOD  Nov. 22, 2011 at 17:37

I reckon 4.6/4.7ish, the original grew from 4" to 4.3" on the S2 and by early next year 4.5-4.7" will be standard high end, I think. Whether it'll have hardware buttons or onscreen buttons is another matter though...

Treab  Nov. 22, 2011 at 17:40

it will be onscreen... same as the nexus thats the point of ICS...

will leads to galaxy nexus ending up as a 4.3" screen...

AhmadCentral  Nov. 22, 2011 at 17:42

Good specs, the phone will be a beast. Probably same size screen as galaxy nexus.

But is it just me who hates the on screen buttons in ICS. I really prefer the 3/4 capacitive touch buttons on the bottom of the phones like on HTC/Motorola or the US versions of Samsung phones. The touch ones on the screen just waste screen space and look plain ugly.

matt101101 / MOD  Nov. 22, 2011 at 17:45

Ahmad, I totally agree with you about the buttons, give me proper capacitive buttons over the stupid on screen ones please, Samsung.

At least on an AMOLED screen the on screen buttons are actually black, imagine how awful they'll look when they're a dark grey ish colour on S-LCD displays, eugh :|...

matt101101 / MOD  Nov. 22, 2011 at 17:47

Oh and Treab, the rumoured HTC Edge (the believable of the two quad-core HTCs, not the 2.5ghz one), has capacitive buttons and that'll almost certainly be an ICS device.

Treab  Nov. 22, 2011 at 17:50

it supposedly has buttons we shall see matty the old ;)
