Fancy the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition? You're certainly not alone, but the bad news is it looks like it won't be available in the UK at launch, and in fact might not make it to the UK at all.
So says CNET, apparently based on information received directly from Google itself. Looks like the Nexus 4 is set to remain the best option for a stock Android handset for a while still.
The TouchWiz-free Galaxy S4 was announced at Google I/O last week, and will be available in the US for a one-off $649 via Google Play from June 26.
Nothing concrete was said at the time about an international launch, but we assumed it'll happen at some point.
And we still do, to be honest, since CNET's claims don't reveal a direct source, or any directly quoted comments for that matter.
The idea of a stock Android Galaxy S4 has been warmly received for the most part, especially given recent grumbles about just how much TouchWiz-related bloat Samsung's flagship device ships with.
For many, keeping the GS4's mighty hardware specification intact but cutting the clutter to free up valuable storage space represents the ideal solution. So let's hope this is one rumour that is wide of the mark.
