Pre-orders opened today for the Samsung Galaxy S4 ahead of its April 26 on-sale date, and as expected all the leading networks have lined up an array of deals to lure potential buyers to sign on the digital dotted line.
Contract options on EE's 4G service run from as little as £31 per month to as much as £76, all depending on the details of the plan and how much you're willing to lay down up front. If you want SIM-free, though, you could be talking as much as £630.
That's the price Carphone Warehouse wants for the GS3 alongside the various contract permutations it's listing.
The CPW listing doesn't specify whether that price is for the 16GB or 32GB Galaxy S4, but given that all the monthly deals available across the board are for the 16GB model it suggests that's the handset being offered.
That said, Clove (for example) lists the 16GB Galaxy S4 for £579.99, so maybe it's the 32GB variant after all.
Either way it means the Galaxy S4 is pricier than the equivalent SIM-free iPhone 5 alternative, by anything from £30 to £100.
In terms of monthly plans, that £31pm example we gave you above from EE runs for 24 months and will require you to lay down £269.99 up front and be happy with just 500MB of on-board data, which won't suit too many.
The other end of the scale is the £76pm deal for 20GB of monthly data, which reduces the up-front outlay to £19.99.
If you're happy with 3G, you can get the Galaxy S4 completely free up front on some deals, while others require as little as £10.50 a month in payments – though alas not at the same time.
We'll have a detailed breakdown on just where the best deals can be found in the morning, not just in terms of monthly and overall cost, but also in terms of where the best add-ons and incentives are to be found.
