Samsung Galaxy S5 battery life

Is the Samsung Galaxy S5 the best phone around for battery life at the moment? Taking "Ultra Power Saving Mode" into account?

From GSM Arena.

LG G2 min -> 76h
Note 3 -> 75h

I assume those are standby times, CT?!
The Lumia 1520 I'm using at the moment isn't bad actually, but I don't see it better in real life
than, say, the Note 3...
The 1520 surprised me a couple of days ago. I think it was on 98%.
Without planning to, I played some 90 minutes of GTA San Andreas on it. When I quit the game, battery was on 87%. That isn't bad.
But when you spend an hour on Twitter, upload a couple of pics, then check your emails and answer to a handful of them, battery is down to 60-70%...

Not 100% sure how they test, but at least it's same test across many different phones.

Thanks.
Before I received the 1520 I was concerned. Some review claimed their model lost 20% overnight in standby... But 'mine' doesn't. Considering the massive screen, it is impressive in terms of battery life. And playing San Andreas on it is a joy. (Rockstar optimised it for WP low-RAM devices. And on the powerhorse that the Lumia 1520 is it feels better than on the iPad Air. In fact, best GTA SA on any platform.... Still, bring on WP8.1 already! Mind you: the 1520 is way too big for convenient everyday use as a phone. But a fabulous device.

Okay, took a closer look, and I'm none the wiser. The iPhone 5s ranks below the iPhone 5c???
Sorry, that cannot be right. In fact, I used 7 of the devices that allegedly out-performed the 5c, and none performed better in my everyday use.

Seems that comparison is more of a compilation of 'some' basic testing they did. There is no way they actually tested all those devices side by side in any realistic fashion.

It's quite consistent for me. iPhone 5s is 54h and 5c is 52h. This is cutting it very close, so I wouldn't bother between them

From personal experience:
iPhone 5c < Xperia ZL < Moto G < Note 2 < Razr MAXX

I haven't used any other phone for more than a week consistently to tell. My iPhone running work email that always synching. Probably drains battery.

iPhone 5c that I used for 3 weeks gave me twice of what the 5 was giving me at same kinda usage pattern. In fact the 5c was one of the best performers in terms of battery of all phones I used in the last 18 months bar the Note 2, Z1 and Lumia 1520. The 5s is so bad in that regard, it should be off the market and get its own section in that list! Good phone, great cam blah blah blah... "Only use near socket"
